Using a humidity gauge is like using a gas gauge in your car. Gauges allow you to monitor the amount of humidity in your home. A healthy amount of humidity would between 30-50%.

The second thing you can do is to make sure your home is properly ventilated. Open your windows to let fresh air in your home.Purchasing a home ventilation system creates proper air flow throughout the home. This is clearly the more extreme and expensive route.
